Zeugnis++ Praktikum ++ Spanien

My Nursing Internship in a Doctor's Office in Valencia

"I knew with certainty that after I finished my studies I wanted to go to Spain. With the help of StudentsGoAbroad, Valencia was my goal!"

The placement of my five-month internship went very well and easily. I quickly found a place in a doctor's office. The practice was very central so that I could comfortably walk there every day. The nurses and doctors all welcomed me very friendly and I felt very comfortable. I either accompanied the doctor to patient talks or watched the nurses undergo treatments. The work was very varied and I could always stay as long as I wanted. I usually went for lunch and then drove to the nearby beach, for example. It was also no problem to take a day off from time to time so that I could also discover other cities in Spain. During my time here I traveled to Barcelona, Granada, Mallorca and Madrid, so I got to know a lot about Spain! Total cool!

"Valencia is a colorful city full of students from all over the world."

Student Life in Valencia

I found my way around the city very well. In the beginning, you sometimes got lost in the small streets, but that's how you always came across new places. Fortunately, I had no problems communicating because I already knew Spanish. Anyone who is ever in Valencia should definitely take a trip to the nearby town of Xativa. On a mountain, there is a beautiful, old castle from which you have a wonderful view.

The organization on-site is also really great! My coordinators in Valencia were always good contacts and, for example, helped me find an apartment when I had to look for a new one after four months. In the beginning, I spontaneously decided to take a language course because I quickly realized that my Spanish was a bit rusty. I really enjoyed the Spanish classes. He was in small groups and therefore very relaxed, I took a lot from it. My new life in Spain was just a dream! I liked it so much! I even extended my stay twice and was very sad when I finally had to leave. Valencia is a colorful city full of students from all over the world. I have always met new people with whom I have experienced so much unforgettable. This city has a lot to offer: great bars, cool clubs, beautiful parks, and interesting museums. Boredom - what is it anyway?
