1. Fukuoka Tower
With its 234 meter height, this tower built in 1989 is the tallest coastal tower in Japan. At 123 meters there is a viewing platform with a café - where, especially at sunset, you can enjoy a magnificent view.
2. Marine World
Built in the form of a seashell, this marine science museum displays about 7,000 underwater creatures from 230 different species.
The small island is only a short ferry ride away from Fukuoka. Here you can find beautifully designed parks. The Island Park attracts most visitors, as it has a beach and a breathtaking view of the ocean.
4. Fukuoka Dome

On one floor antique pottery and Buddhist guards are found, on another, works of Basquiat, Brancusi, Rothko and Warhol are presented. In other galleries modern works of Western and Japanese artists are juxtaposed.
