The main job of political institutions is to position the branches in a balanced way that serves the interest of the people. The main types of policies are domestic and external policies. The domestic policy describes all actions concerned with the own country. Foreign policy represents the interests of the country at an international level.
A policy internship cannot only be completed in political institutions, but also in larger companies with a strong emphasis on corporate policy. In a policy internship program, you can work on specific projects besides your daily activities. You will have to do researches on a particular topic, which you may present to the company.
