Overview: surf internship program in a Surf and Diving School in Portugal
The Surf and Diving School is located at one of the best surfing spots in Peniche, Portugal. Your task will be to assist the team of surf-instructors in all their activities. If you are passionate for water sports you can also enjoy the opportunity to surf and dive on your days off. Most of the clients are German- or English-speaking, that is why knowledge of Portuguese is not required. You need to have surfing experience to support the team of instructors.
What to expect

Your internship duties will be as follows:- Assisting the resident instructors with students in the Surf School and on the beach
- Assist with the general running of the shop
- Ability to integrate in the team
- Follow the rules and standards of the Diving Center’s activities
- Punctuality

- Surfing experience
- Good level of German and English, Spanish is useful but not mandatory
- Commitment
- Certain level of independence (minimum age of 21 years)

Itinerary of your stay abroad
Internship program in Peniche, Portugal
Arrival
The dive center will organize your airport pickup from the international airport in Lisbon. You will be brought directly to your accommodatoin in Peniche.
Orientation
As you will live together with other crew members of the dive center, you can already introduce yourself after your arrival. Your new house mates will definitely help you with everything you would like to know about your stay abroad or your internship.
Your first working day
On the first day of your internship you will be picked up from the accommodation together with the other crew members and dropped to the dive center. You will be officially introduced to your new colleagues and your internship tasks.
Weekends
You will be working 6 days a week, which means you will work from Monday to Saturday. Therefore you should use Sundays to visit some sights in Lisbon or other cities in Portugal.

Accommodation: dive and surf internship in Portugal
During your internship as a Dive Master or Surf teacher you will be accommodated in a shared living together with other crew members. You will sleep in a shared room. Meals are not included, but you can use the shared kitchen to prepare your food together with your house mates. However, on beach days as a surf teacher or dive excursions you will be offered lunch.Our Service

Das Abenteuerreisen-Team hat 2 Büros, welche circa 45 Minuten voneinander entfernt sind. Eines ist im hektischen Stadtzentrum von Kapstadt und das andere am Beginn der Weinberge und der Somerset West. Jeder Guide verfügt über eine hervorragende Ortskenntnis und nimmt regelmäßig an Fahrsicherheitsprüfungen und ggf. -schulungen teil. Außerdem besitzt das gesamte Adventure Team erste Hilfe Zertifikate.Vor jeder Tour werden die Guides auf ihre Tauglichkeit, Gesundheit und auf ihr Wissen geprüft, um dir beste Sicherheit und Support zu gewähren. Jeder Tourguide muss einen Bewertungsdurchschnitt von 1,75 aus den Feedback Formularen haben.
