About this position

Overview: Teaching English in a Kindergarten in Ubud, Bali

This project supports more than 15 kindergartens in Ubud and the surrounding areas. This project has an own kindergarten which can be attended for free by children aged 4 to 5 years. The children who attend the kindergartens are at the beginning of their school careers. It is invaluable for them to learn English at such an early age. As in any other kindergarten around the world teaching here is informal, as children prefer to play rather than to be taught. But the seeds of lifelong learning process are sown already  by the fact that the children can be enthused about going to school and by teaching them a few basic English skills.
