About this position

Overview: volunteer care work with children in Kenya

The centre for children is a charity based organization in Kisumu. It started as a response from the heart of a nurse who had gone to Kisumu to teach preventive healthcare in surrounding village. As she spent time in Kisumu she was approached on a regular basis by groups of street boys, she was touched by their plight and their expression of utter hopelessness.

Kisumu is a port city in western Kenya and is the third largest city in the country.
