Wildlife volunteers will be placed in organizations focused on wildlife protection and restoration. These placements will take place in rural parts of Canada where you will be provided accommodation.What to expect
Description: volunteer for wildlife protection in rural Canada
Your responsibilities as a wildlife volunteer will be to support organizations helping injured and orphaned animals. You should definitely be an outdoor person, as you mainly will work outdoors. Depending on the region you have the chance to learn or improve your skills in either English or French. Wildlife programs are available in:- British Columbia Lower Mainland
- Vancouver Island
- British Columbia Interior und Rocky Mountains

Programm zum freiwilligen Praktikum in Kanada
Visum
Bevor du nach Kanada einreisen kannst, musst du das C50 Visum beantragen. Hierzu brauchst du ein Bestätigungsschreiben der Organisation, in der du dein Freiwilligenprojekt oder dein Praktikum absolvierst.
Projektbeginn
Du kannst generell über das gesamte Jahr an diesem Programm teilnehmen. Allerdings solltest du dich aber mindestens 12 Wochen vor deinem gewünschtem Reisestart anmelden. Nach deiner Anmeldung wirst du ein Skype Gespräch mit unserer Partnerorganisation in Kanada führen.
Ankunft am Flughafen vor Ort
Vor deiner Abflug wirst du ausreichend über deine Ankunft am Flughafen informiert und wie du am besten zu deinem Projekt kommst. Ein Flughafentransfer ist nicht im Preis enthalten kann aber als Option dazu gebucht werden.
Unterkunft bei deinem Projekt
Bei unseren Wildlife-Projekten ist deine Unterkunft bereits im Preis enthalten und du wirst in einer Unterkunft vor Ort leben die ähnlich wie ein Hostel aufgebaut ist. Mit Zimmern in denen 2-4 Personen unterkommen. Gelegentlich ist es auch möglich, Einzelzimmer zu buchen. Die Küche und das Badezimmer stehen allen Freiwilligen gemeinsam zur Verfügung. Bei unseren Community-Projekten oder sozialen Praktika in ausgewählten Städten ist deine Unterkunft nicht enthalten. Eine Unterkunft in einer Gastfamilie kann allerdings dazu gebucht werden.

Unterkunft während des Wildlife-Programs in Kanada
Deine Unterbringung ist bei diesem Projekt bereits im Preis enthalten. Du wirst mit anderen Volunteers in einer hostelähnlichen Unterkunft wohnen und dort mit diesen Küche und Bad teilen. Meist sind die Zimmer Mehrbettzimmer. In manchen Regionen können aber auch Privatzimmer gebucht werden. Freiwillige sollten sich bewusst sein, dass sich die Unterkunft in abgelegenen ländlichen Gebieten in der Nähe des Projektes befindet. Oft gibt es dort keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten oder Zugang anderen Shops. Besonders für Teilnehmer mit speziellen Ernährungsbedürfnissen stellt dies eine Herausforderung dar. Die Unterkünfte in den abgelegenen Orten haben keinen Zugang zum Internet.Our Service
