Experience incredible adventures and discover the many wonders of Australia's east coast. In just 14 days, you'll join like-minded travelers to experience Queensland's best places and sights. From the pure sands of Whitehaven Beach to the breathtaking beauty of Australia's Great Barrier Reef, this trip will take you to all the places on your East Coast bucket list. Great inclusions, experienced guides and a new group of friends to explore with.


What to expect

On this 14-day adventure trip, you won't have the same tasks as in our internships and social projects. Instead, you'll experience pure action and lots of fun with like-minded people. Our experienced tour guides will make sure you don't miss any of the region's highlights as you explore the East Coast with a new group of friends. So pack your sense of adventure and immerse yourself in the ultimate overseas experience on Australia's fascinating East Coast!


Itinerary of your stay abroad

DAY 1 | WELCOME TO SYDNEY

After your arrival in Sydney, you check into your hotel and take some time to settle in. In the evening, you will meet your fellow travelers and tour guides for a welcome dinner. Get to know each other and discuss the itinerary for the next two weeks. Your tour guide will give you some tips and recommendations to help you make the most of your time in Sydney.

DAY 2 | JERVIS BAY

Rise with the sun and embark on an exciting full-day adventure exploring the wonders of Jervis Bay. Located about 200km south of Sydney, Jervis Bay is famous for its stunning beaches and national parks, including the famous Hyams Beach, which according to locals has the whitest sand in the world! You also have the opportunity to see wildlife such as kangaroos, wallabies and dolphins. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before returning to Sydney.

DAY 3 | EXPLORE SYDNEY

Take advantage of a free day in Sydney to explore the city at your own pace. Sydney offers numerous sights and activities. Explore some of the city's landmarks such as the Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Bondi Beach, take the ferry to Manly Beach or stroll through the historic Rocks district. Optional activities include a city tour, a visit to Taronga Zoo or an ascent of the Harbour Bridge.

DAY 4-5 | SURFERS PARADISE

Fly from Sydney to the Gold Coast and land in Surfers Paradise. The next day we enjoy the picturesque view from Australia's tallest building, where the city meets the sea. Surfers Paradise is known for its beautiful sandy beaches, high-rise buildings and vibrant nightlife, as well as a variety of entertainment options. Try surfing, take a day trip to Byron Bay or spend time at one of the country's best theme parks.

DAY 6 | NOOSA

Check out of your hotel on the Gold Coast and drive to Noosa, a coastal town in the Sunshine Coast region of Queensland. The drive takes around 3 hours, with plenty of stops along the way to stretch your legs and admire the breathtaking scenery. Arrive in Noosa in the afternoon and check into your hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring the town, relaxing on the beach or taking a stroll through the park.

DAY 7 | K'GARI

K'gari is the largest sand island in the world and is known for its diverse ecosystems, including lush rainforests, crystal clear lakes, sand dunes and pristine beaches. Take a ferry and spend the day on a 4WD tour with an experienced guide who will show you the best that K'gari has to offer. One of the standout attractions is Lake McKenzie, a stunning freshwater lake with striking blue water and fine white quartz sand.

DAY 8 | NOOSA TO AIRLIE BEACH

Relax on a free day in Noosa. Visit Noosa National Park for breathtaking coastal views and wildlife spotting. Browse the local stores and markets or relax on the beach. In the late afternoon, take the overnight train to Airlie Beach at 4 pm.

DAY 9 | AIRLIE BEACH

Arrive in Airlie Beach in the morning and check into your hotel. Airlie Beach is the gateway to the Whitsunday Islands and offers a variety of activities and attractions to keep you busy. Spend the day exploring the town, visiting the local markets or spending time by the lagoon.

DAY 10 | WHITEHAVEN BEACH

Take part in a full-day tour to Whitehaven Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Whitehaven Beach is located on Whitsunday Island and is famous for its dazzling white sand and crystal clear waters. During the tour you will have the opportunity to swim, snorkel and relax on the beach. Enjoy a picnic lunch before returning to Airlie Beach in the evening.

DAY 11 | AIRLIE BEACH

Enjoy another free day in Airlie Beach to relax or explore on your own. Take the opportunity to book some of the exciting East Coast activities, such as a scenic flight over the Great Barrier Reef or jet-skiing around the Whitsunday Islands. Tonight you can meet up for dinner and reminisce about a magical day at Whitehaven Beach.

DAY 12 | CAIRNS

Check out of your hotel in Airlie Beach and catch a train to Cairns, which will take you on a scenic journey through the heart of Queensland. The journey takes around 12 hours, but there are plenty of stops along the way to break up the journey and enjoy the stunning scenery. You arrive in Cairns in the evening and check into your hotel.

DAY 13 | CAIRNS

Take part in a full-day snorkeling tour to the Great Barrier Reef, one of the most famous natural wonders of the world. Experience the opportunity to swim with tropical fish, discover colorful corals and explore the fascinating underwater world of the reef. Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch on board the boat before returning to Cairns in the evening.

DAY 14 | CAIRNS

Take part in a full-day snorkeling tour on the Great Barrier Reef, one of the most famous natural wonders of the world. Experience the fascinating opportunity to swim with tropical fish, discover colorful corals and explore the reef's breathtaking underwater world. Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch on board the boat before returning to Cairns in the evening.

DAY 15 | END OF THE TRIP

Say goodbye to your group and tour leader as you check out at 10am, bringing an incredible journey together to an end. Your accommodation

The program includes 13 nights in hotel accommodation and one night on the night train. You will stay with other participants in double or shared rooms. The entire group is no larger than 20 people and is therefore very suitable for friends and solo travelers. During the trip, great importance is attached to a balanced ratio of joint activities and relaxation. You can decide individually whether you want to take part in the additional activities or chill out - so there is something for every type of traveler!
